No — joining the Med Viajar Partner Network is completely free. Once your application is reviewed and approved, a member of our team will reach out to walk you through everything and get you set up.
What happens after I submit my application?

A Med Viajar coordinator will contact you within 2–3 business days to learn more about your practice or services, answer your questions, and explain how the partnership works in practice. There's no commitment required at this stage.
What kind of patients does Med Viajar bring?

Our patients are primarily international — from the US, Canada, UK, Europe, and Latin America. They are typically well-researched, motivated patients who have specifically chosen Panama for their medical care. They speak English, have the means to travel, and are ready to proceed.
What are the requirements to be approved?

Requirements vary by partner type. Doctors need to be licensed and board-certified in Panama. Hospitals need to be registered and operating legally. Drivers need a clean driving record, appropriate vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation. Hotels and recovery residences need to be in good standing with adequate facilities for recovering patients. We'll walk through specifics during your onboarding call.
Can I join if I'm outside Panama City?

Our current patient volume is concentrated in Panama City. If you're based elsewhere in Panama, apply anyway — we're growing and may have opportunities depending on your location and services.
Do I need to speak English?

For doctors and hospitals, English proficiency is strongly preferred since most of our patients are English-speaking. For drivers and hotels, basic English or a willingness to work with our bilingual coordinators is sufficient.
